>100 Retail Interiors Projects
Every year we are delivering & installing millwork as well as the retail fixtures & fittings for around 20,000m2 of Retail Space in over 100 permanent stores or boutiques across the region.
Within the umdasch group, we harness the expertise to execute approximately 200 turn-key projects annually. Spanning retail stores, office complexes, and museums, – the diverse General Contracting (GC) teams within the umdasch group can seamlessly manage complete project planning and fit-out services, available upon request across multiple European locations, as well as here in the Middle East through us.
Reusable Pop-up Store Systems
To reduce the amount of our products that may end up as landfill after their useful life in one of the retail spaces, we have reusable Pop-up Store System for temporary retail activations in multiple locations on stock.
With the available Standard Merchandising Systems we can activate a total Retail Area of around 3,400m2 anywhere in the Middle East.

The Store Makers in the Middle East have invested into a sophisticated barcode system to measure amongst other KPI's also our labour efficiency and time productivity for each individual item. Combined with an in-line Quality Assurance process this ensures that a wastage of resources can be constantly measured and reduced whilst ensuring that our customers only pay for what adds value to their projects.
An insulated roof for our production halls in Dubai Investments Park 2, ensure that we preserve energy whilst still ensuring that all our workers can work in an adequate fully air-conditioned environment during the sizzling hot summer months in the Middle East.
Further investments into a photovoltaic plant on the roof are planned and currently in the evaluation process.
With our standard systems like the Quadro Stands, Basixx, Fold.up! and the Varitable by umdasch, we have also limited stock available for instant deployment and to re-use in multiple locations. With these systems all Official Merchandise Stores at Expo2020 were activated as a professional retail environment for a period of six months and instead of ending up as landfill we can ensure the future use of such equipment for a more sustainable approach to temporary retail spaces.
